If you don’t know who I am, my name is Angelina, also known as Cosmomooxie22. I wanted to give two different insights on Bohyme® hair extensions, and why this is my current hair extension of choice.

I have played in extensions my entire life, and I am fortunate enough to have been in the hair industry for 15+ years. I grew up in a salon which was predominately black women and men. I know you are thinking, “what does that have to do with reviewing hair extensions?”, the answer is EVERYTHING. With my experience, it is a key point in why I am so well versed in extensions and quality of hair. With hair styles changing every two weeks, I would service the same clients who would have to keep up with the latest fashion styles, so I have seen it all when it comes to hair texture and the good, the bad, and the ugly in regards to extensions.

Things I care about being a weave consumer:

*Quality of hair, I can’t stress this key point enough. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years, only to receive hair that isn’t human hair or has been over processed, and is super thin and smells.

*Longevity of hair is another one of my top priorities. I have never had an issue investing in quality hair. However, there has been many instances where I have paid for quality hair and it didn’t last. It would mat or not hold a curl. Now I am going to keep this part 💯 some of it may be my fault. This was before wet brushes and quality shampoo/conditioner and yes I would lay down with a wet bun or damp hair. Please don’t do any of these things.

Things I care about being a professional artist that solely works on extensions:

*Variety of hair! I need more than three textures of hair. It’s impossible to give natural looking extensions with only three extension textures to choose from. Usually, we are only offered Straight, Wavy, and kind of Curly. Curls and textures are more complex than that. Along with length options only being three at max, and that is me being generous. I currently offer an extension service that allows a protective style for my curly and coiled queens. The hair is that's needed is, a hand-tied weft, not a machine-tied weft. So, as you can imagine now, my options are limited.

As a certified Redken colorist, color is a must. The color variety when choosing hair is essential for me. I need variety in color options, because you cannot create a natural look with one flat tone.

*How fast can I get the hair?

As an extension and color specialist, I always have hair on 🖐 however things come up. Every blue moon a client may decide to go from brond (yes that’s a thing, go on Pinterest) to Blonde. When these situations arise, we have to get more hair, maybe even hair extensions that are closer to the desired color, so we can keep the longevity of the hair. No over processing in my chair. It’s important that I can gets my hands on hair, even the next day.

Bohyme is that company that allows me to have access to all of these things, from a consumer standpoint, as well as a professional standpoint. This is why it is my current choice of hair extensions on the market. Not only do they provide quality hair, I also get the hair in a timely manner.
